Default Acoustic Guitar Forum CD Volume 1 - Now Available!

Nearly a year in the making.... I am very proud to present Acoustic Guitar Forum CD Volume 1!

Click here to listen to samples and to buy the CD!
CD's are $11US each plus shipping. (Proceeds support the Acoustic Guitar Forum operations and our future recording projects.)

Thanks to the many individuals who spent countless hours behind the scenes creating this music and compilation. I believe that we have created a CD that is truly worthy of the heart that these twenty one artists put into their music.

The Acoustic Gallery website has been updated to include information from each artist on their songs. Please click here for more info... (Artists, if you have changes to your Acoustic Gallery page or wish to include a photo please send me a private message.)

AGF CD Volume 1 FAQ:
Q: Will there be more AGF CD's?
A: YES! Hopefully many more!

Q: I submitted a song but it's not on the CD! What happened to my song?
A: Numerous submissions were received for AGF CD Volume 1, but we only had limited space and the quality of the recordings and music submitted varied widely. Nevertheless, we still had more good music than would fit on CD volume 1. If your song wasn't included, it may still show up on Volume 2 or 3 which are currently in production. If there are issues with recording quality but we still wish to use your song, we will get in touch with you and give you the opportunity to send us a better copy. We don't discard submissions solely on the basis of audio quality, but neither do we want to publish lower quality recordings on our releases.

Q: Okay, I've now listened to CD 1 and I think I know why my song wasn't included. Can I re-record and re-submit my song for consideration on future Forum CDs?
A: Yes. Absolutely. My desire is to always encourage artists to keep writing, recording, and performing. Just like anything else, good recordings take time - usually a lot of time. If you send us a first effort recording, chances are you'll never hear anything back. (By first-effort, I mean recordings with obvious glitches in the performance, strings out of tune or bad buzzing, singing off-key, sending us something that was recorded with your laptop mic, or a recording with clapping, talking, or other noise.)

Q: I want to be on an AGF compilation CD! What do I need to do?
A: Submissions will re-open soon (this month). Stay tuned!

Q: What happened to Crossroads, the AGF Christian-theme CD?
A: Not enough submissions were received in time to release this CD at the same time as AGF CD Volume 1. Also, this project is currently without a producer. I plan on picking up this project and producing it myself for release later this year. I'll be asking for additional submissions so we can finish this project and hopefully set the stage for Crossroads Volume 2.

Is there a list of usernames who are on the CD? I only recognize 3 of those 21 names.

I'm sure it's great - it better be, since I didn't make the cut, and I thought mine were good! I know there are many people here that play at a high level, and they should be heard ... cheers.
