Default Stanton (HR King) heading to Yankees

As a Red Sox fan this hurts. Giancarlo Stanton, the current HR champ, and his $295M remaining contract are heading to the Yankees.

Stanton hit 59 HRs this past season. Aaron Judge hit 52. Going out on a limb and saying they won't combine for 100 HRs this season, not even 90.

Few things are more enjoyable than seeing a Red Sox fan squirm . The Yankees will hit that many in your ballpark next season .

How many days does he sit out with injuries each year? I’m glad the Sox didn’t swallow this contract.

On paper, this looks to be a great Yankees team. But the game ain’t played on paper.

I wish the Red Sox could get rid of that Price contract. Happy they got of Sandoval and before him Crawford. Big contracts that didn't do anything.
