Default JR's Guitar ? What in the wide world ???!!

I was just flipping between sections when this caught my eye (darn near put it out in fact). Property of one JR Rogers.
Is this really a good example for our beloved founder to set to sensitive, impressionable young minds ?

I LOVE it - seems he builds a variety of unique instruments, BTW:

I'm picking up a strong resemblance to Homer Simpson.

Haha! Thanks for the flashback. No that's not my guitar though I do have one from the same builder. Mine has a 12" sterling silver serving tray set into the back... I'm guessing for some quick snack service after wowing them with mad tones from this banjomorphology. It has a single coil pickup that does two tones. Loud and HONKY! ... and the finish work is quite good. It has a long scale neck so maybe I'll turn it into a baritonebanj someday.

Might I suggest dubbing it a baritanjo?

Or has someone already thought of that name? Should have done my Google-search due diligence before posting.

I don't know what you call those things but it is pretty easy to see why they are not in production, if you know what I mean!

It would be a great guitar for a lazy busker because people would pay you to stop playing.
And I'm pretty sure it's my only guitar with a "melt value".
