Default Don't Cry Blue (Jonathan Edwards cover)

I've always enjoyed this song since first hearing it in 1971. It soon became both a folk and bluegrass standard with many amateur groups. I hope you enjoy our rendition of this classic: Don't Cry Blue Comments welcomed!

Wow.....

I love it.

I mess a little with the banjo myself. The harmonies are most excellent!

Great job.

Great job Bobbyio! Harp, harmonies, and a touch of banjo, what's not to love! That is a FUN song! Really enjoyed it. Is this from the archives or new? It can't be too old with the banjo??

Than you, very much, Murphy Slaw! The banjo is a lot of fun and gives me some new challenges, especially when arranging songs. I think it adds just the right sound to some songs.

Thank you, Roy!! Actually, this is from the archives. This was the first song I recorded with the banjo back in 2010. I put it up on AGF for comments but it got only two...a slow time on the boards! LOL!

Thanks, fb! I'm not sure how widely known Jonathan Edwards music was back then. His most popular song was "Sunshine, Go Away Today." He might have only been known in the USA.

REALLY enjoyed this. It's a fun song and you (and your co-singer) made all that come out. Love the banjo and harp!
