Default New M2 Mac mini Pro vs Mac Studio M1 Max

I stumbled on this yesterday

While I personally find the long video intro kinda inane and useless

I found the the comparison content pretty interesting
Particularly (being a one room recording situation) the ambient machine noise test) starts about 4:35 into the video

I tried to prompt the "start at" to work but when I play back it starts from beginning ??

Thanks KevWind for the comparison Video. When I invested in the Mac Studio Max I was worried that the upcoming M2 products might greatly out do my Mac studio.

One always like to invest wisely. And no sooner than one product is released, then talk of the future products begin. So then the question is presented
" Should I wait? " But somewhere you just got to jump in.

Thankfully, AGF Recording has once again guided me truly. So happy that at least for now, the Mac Studio Max is still top tier. Maybe the M2 mini appeals more to those who want portability? The smallest footprint? But I say that the Mac Studio Max is still small enough to be easily be transported.

Well the thing that surprised me was the M2 Mini was twice as loud as the Studio Max. given all hubbub about the Studio machines producing an audible whine...

Albeit logical with the significantly more air space and cooling ability of the Studio machine .

We certainly heard a whine in the Apple community but it wasn't every every Mac Studio Max and we don't know if this was a quiet or noisy one. But if the Mac Studio cooling is working properly, it should be quieter than the Mini. However, I don't think either machine was making enough noise that it should really bother anyone.

I know some people experienced that noise from their Mac Studio, but we never did. We run our Mac Studio hard & it never even spun up the fan. It’s been dead quiet, even huge sessions.
