I guess that is getting too close to a Harp guitar though...sigh...

OK... I just sent an e-mail to Alistair about getting one of these beauties!!! You rapscallions twisted my arm and broke my anti-GASifying mindset...
Since I can't decide between the cobalt blue and the "chrome" I think I should leave it up to Alister to decide what he wants to build!!! Maybe one of each???
Now I'm just dreaming...

I have a guitar on order from Alistair, not a double, but the turnaround time for a custom order is pretty good in my opinion. I think my deposit was confirmed in late January for an estimated May delivery.

While I love the Emeralds, I really couldn't justify a double with my funds, or skill level.

Doubleneck - you need some carbon fabric for a backdrop for your pics. PM me with your info and I can send you some pieces if your interested.

Just received an response from Alistair,(within 24 hours!), about my Chiamera...What a pleasant experience!
He has sent a Miotas bass to a company in Australia as a prototype in a new "chrome" technique for finishes, and will then make a decision as to whether the new "Mirror Chrome" is feasible. The up charge will be about $1000 more, but IMHO would be AWESOME!!!
But heck...if it dos'nt work out, the Cobalt Blue would be beautiful!!!
Maybe by then we will get some more feedback on those new Obbligato saddles...

As a theme song maybe the society should all re-learn "Stairway to Heaven"?
I know I haven't played it since the 70s...Everyone would take the lead part on 6 string, then really cut loose on the strummed 12!!!
I don't know who would sing though...

I bet that song will sound fantastic on the double... I had a suggestion to check out youtube, when Heart did Stairway at the Kennedy Center. So I did, and like that rendition... orchestra, choir, horns... it is awesome.... even made Plant tear up....

Stairway is somewhat overplayed. Now, The Rain Song is a different story! I may video the Chimera playing that...
