Hi, what is scale length? How about neck profile? Are you interested in any trades? Thanks! Rob

The scale length is 25". The neck profile is a comfortable c shape. Not too big, but not too small. I'll try to get some measurements when I have a chance. I'm mainly looking to sell to raise funds, but would consider a trade + cash that nets a min of 2k. Thanks.

Sorry I missed that part earlier. I edited the post above, but it's what I would call a medium C shape. Based on my best effort, it measures around 0.88" at the first fret from the bottom of neck to the top of the fretboard (not fret), and just shy of 1" at the 9th fret.

It's a very comfortable neck that gradually gets thicker as you travel up the neck. Combined with the 1.75" nut width, it makes for very playable guitar, especially for finger style.

What a great price. My Rockbridge is my only guitar and they're something else.

bump. I do have a rough recording available upon request. It should give you a reasonable idea of what the guitar sounds like. Thanks.

How would you describe the cedar to a spruce sound?

To be honest, I don't have the most experience with acoustics as I'm primarily an electric player.

Having said that, based on my experience, I would say the spruce top has more headroom, a more immediate attack, more punchy, and hence more volume as you can drive it harder. It would definitely be my choice if I was doing more strumming/bluegrass type stuff where I had to really cut through. But I do think it can sound a bit stiff depending on the guitar.

The cedar to my ear, gives a nice broken-in warmth to the overall sound, and I think in particular really shines with finger-style. It doesn't have as much headroom as spruce, but this particular guitar can get punchy with strumming and how you attack the strings.

Where it really performs beautifully with this particular OOO to my ears, is that the Brazilian S/B provide rich harmonic complexities and overtones, while the guitar has inherent clarity and articulation (I presume Rockbridge's construction/super light finish), the more modern hifi sound if you will, and the cedar top ties all those elements together and provides a beautiful warmth and delicacy to the overall tone.

As a result, to my ears, it ends up sounding like the best of both modern and vintage sound. I hope this make sense.

I can provide some clips if you're interested. Please pm/email me if that's the case.

Thanks for that great explanation, I've heard good things about these guitars. I need to get experienced with cedar.
