Should I get a Yeti? I have Cardioid mics already...

I have quite a few microphones already.
For eg, Shure SM57, 58, AKG D790, EV ND767a plus many others that I used when I was wearing DJ hat years ago.
However, all of them are Cardioid.

I use Alesis Multimix USB 6 mixer to connect two mics, one for guitar and one for vocal.
For software, Audacity and wavepad are doing fine.
It's just for my own progress tracking.

It is inconvenient setting up two mics/stands, mixer etc... so I'm thinking if it's a good idea to get a Blue Yeti or Snowball condenser mic that just records everything at once and all it needs is plugging USB cable to the computer.

Has anyone tried Blue mics here for acoustic guitar/singing?

I have a Blue Baby Bottle mic which does a fine job with acoustic guitar and vocals. I don't use it much, but when I did my mic comparison tests it rated right up there with best of the mics I have. I have it set up for vocals on my home practice rig right now.

I bought the silver Blue Yeti microphone.
It is very big than what I thought by looking at the pictures/videos.
However, it's very easy to setup and that's what I am looking for.

As for sound quality, compared to other cardioid mics such as AKG, Sennheiser etc..., sound is not as full.
Blue Yeti also has cardioid mode and it sounds much better than other modes.
Other modes sound tinny, more highs and mids than lows.

Even the one directional mode (cardioid) doesn't sound as smooth and full as other XLR mics through my USB mixer.

However, it's good enough for quick recording so I'll keep it. Also, it captures acoustic guitar without having to point it towards the guitar.
I can sing on the mic and it picks up the guitar at pretty much same volume so great for recording practice.

For better recording or for pros, definitely multiple XLR mics through a mixer/interface is the way to go for better/fuller/smoother sound instead of Blue Yeti.
