Cool.

I not a steampunk lifestyle adherent or convention goer or anything of that sort, but the look is just plain eye-candy for me.

I've seen some steampunk motorcycles appearing at Sturgis from time to time and they are a hoot to behold.

A gentle suck with a vacuum cleaner hose will pop the dome back out...

Yes, but it requires a little finesse depending on the vacuum used. The Beam Central Vac system I installed is very strong so I'll adjust the air flow on the switch handle pipe.

Old JBL aluminum domes are where most people got their practice in:-)
