Stephen Kinnaird - 2017 Shop Work (BC Sitka/Amazon RW OM)
A new year and a new thread for Kinnaird Guitars - West. Here in East Texas we have a lot of exciting builds coming up this year including (at least) builds for four AGF members. Please check in from time to time to see what we're up to. I will keep this first post updated as an index page, so you can quickly jump to any of our in-progress or completed instruments. Also, if you would like to see where we have just come from please check out our previous shop thread: S. Kinnaird 2016.

And I guess people really want to see pictures, so here we go. We're trying to finish up this beautiful BC Sitka/Quilted Maple OM this week so we can send it to upstate New York in the dead of winter.
 It's bound in Snakewood with an arm bevel, soundport, and a ball and lozenge rosette. Hope you enjoy. Steve wet sanding the neck before buffing:  Fitting the bridge before installation:  More pics as this thing gets assembled

Thats wild. Its hard to beat a maple guitar for glamorous looks and especially hard to beat that one. Very nice work.
