My wife loves this song from the musical 'Les Miserables' so I spent the weekend arranging it for solo guitar. First time arranging a song in Csus2 tuning!

Your new guitar, as with every Greenfield guitar I've ever heard, is a superlative instrument, and worthy of a player like you! The deep sonority, epochal sustain, and rich tone color are out of this world!
The Csus2 tuning is mesmerizing. I'm not a schooled musician, but I think this tuning is the same as one of my favorites: CGCGCD. Is that a Csus2?
The Greenfield multiscale looks ideal for this.

I also noodle around in some other C-based tunings you are probably familiar with: CGCGCE (C major); CGCGCEb (C minor); and the Csus2 can go major or minor, like DADGAD- very versatile and a lot of fun to explore.
Congratulations on your acquisition of this superlative instrument. It's always gratifying to see a brilliant guitar, matched up with a brilliant player. THAT is what it's all about.

Had been learning this Stuart Ryan arrangement on & off. Anyway, had a spare hour this afternoon so gave it a go.

Cheers

Been a while since I posted something so here's what I'm currently working on: an original arrangement of Sarah McLachlan's 'Angel'. Pls excuse the odd fluff!

Cheers

Nicely done, man - I'm particularly fond of how you arranged the chorus.
This was recorded in stereo, correct? Are you panning hard right and hard left?

Thanks guys. The guitar's really opened up nicely - and this was recorded on some old strings!

Dcn- yes this was recorded in stereo with each channel panned slightly left / right (i.e. not too spread out).

Cheers

Joel
