Default How much did you pay for your most expensive pick?

(with apologies to Rudals)

No, seriously! I have a friend (a member here in fact) who's gone over $100, but then again he's got a thing for fossilized ivory & dinosaur bones...

I actually spent $90 on one (a tungsten alloy). Along with the many $30+ options available currently.

Maybe not cheap, but certainly less than a new guitar!

Eric Johnson threw me one in 1988. It still works great.

$50 for a heavy Blue Chip (TAD-1R80) , $35 for the rest, had them for years, haven't lost any, they show no signs of wear, zero problems whatsoever with the cost.

As always, suit yourself, they are "worth it" to me.......

I can't remember the exact price, but I bought a pack of "V Picks" that were recommended by a fellow guitar player. I still have them but honestly, I don't use them. I have them displayed in one of my guitar cabinets. They're nice picks but I use mostly Fender mediums.

I just spent $4.95 for a pack of 3 Clayton Coconut picks. They arrived today and I'll check them out tonight. The rest of my picks are cheap Dunlop or Alien picks.

I did hand make a brass pick in art class once. That was pretty cool.

$6.00 for a bone pick.

Nice bevel and grip on that one. I really like it. But like many of the alternative material picks, it's uses are limited. At least it is to me.
