If I had won that 1.5 billion the other day in the lottery, I would have him build one for me from every set he has there!

Great choices, I love those stained tops. I rejected a perfect redwood top once because it was perfect going for a dark stained one that I love!

Looking forward to watching John create this one!

The Padouk came in second place, once I remembered to ask about Bubinga.

I occasionally get the cart before the horse! Hahaha

Thanks Nemoman

I like slight cosmetic imperfections in wood. or perhaps improvements….

I looked for the build thread for your Bubinga, but could not find it. Want to add it here? If not too much trouble???

Cheers

Paul, what do you mean, “Just one more?” You know this one will be the boss bomb, and you’ll be rawkin’ so much you’ll have to get another. And another. And….
In fact, my brother’s policy is after the 5th guitar, he gives future orders away.
He’s just that fine a feller. So I’d start thinking in multiples—certainly not just “one more”.

I'd have been very tempted by the Tiger Myrtle (red myrtle). But both Padauk and Bubinga are superlative tonewoods.
