Adrianne’s stuffed peanut butter cookies stole the show for me.

These guitars are testers for the McKnight with the engineering degree. I will always say and many will agree, once an engineer - always an engineer. It's not what they do it is inside them and always comes out.
Neil, you know the wheels are always going around in his mind. Being an engineer might be contagious. As his sidekick, I wake up in the middle of the night and jot notes, draw pictures and go back to sleep minutes later. Nothing is complete until...wait ... how should I finish that sentence? Tim sometimes will take a guitar apart and put it back together differently a few times up to the last minute.

Anyhow at this point these guitars might only represent simplicity with a twist. I haven't designed the aesthetics of the fretboards yet but they, too, are also likely to be simple. We shall see.

Due to McJammer Fred's musical instrument, during Steven Stanley's visit he gave Tim another item idea for the McJam fun. Fred will come to test and compare this box with that one. Sometimes the McKnight duo need to be watched closely as they go overboard way to soon on McJam prep. I'll post pictures now and then. I'll keep y'all in the know. Be on the look out!

McJam June 21 and 22, 2024.

Aw, c'mon now, Sis. You can tell a little. Report on the bindings, please, even if you can't comment on the whiz-bangs going on inside the body. Inquiring minds wish to know.

I see that one has spalted maple bindings and the other appears to have snakewood.

During the McJam 2023 there was an attendee who said I have a rental apartment. Someone left this. Tim looked it over and as a drummer in the high school band he knew exactly how to finish the boxes. He jumped on board to order the chains to finish the creation in a Tim McKnight manner. What goes around, comes around.

But, (sigh) wait... he has these guitars on the work bench. They are spec testers. Important to complete but I agreed those can wait. Check this out.

He decided to clean up and change his pace for a quick break.

Sometimes the work bench holds snacks. Sometimes the work bench has something else. Three boxes later I heard my husband drumming. Another awesome talent. They sound great. They look nice. The 2024 McJam promises to be a bit different.

Shhhhh. (whispering) Tim's hair is the same color as the white cabinets.

What else will we come up with to quench our thirst for the fun knowledge? Only time will tell.

Ten years ago has passed since this guitar told a story. We appreciate the life long friendships that come with McKnight Guitars.

Good one These things really are fun. Now if I can only just keep my hind end off of them and get some work done around here.

Neil is partially correct. The Grand Recording (SE Asian RW / Cedar) sports spalted maple bindings. The other three have unique Tortoise bindings. It’s a new material that I am experimenting with and so far I quite like it.

We skipped work to hop on the skyride at the Ohio State Fair

Later in the day we enjoyed a visit with our nephew to celebrate the life of his dad.

Another nephew sent coffee from Brazil. What a great way to mentally escape a work day.
