Either steel or nylon depending on the guitar.

Very nice feel and sound up to the Daddario standard.
Gabor, do you prefer D'addario EXP's or non-coated?

I have D'Addario light gauge PB J16s on my Hohner dreadnought. I restrung my mahogany Mini with medium gauge GHS Laurence Juber Signature -- they sound quite a bit better than the Elixirs it came with. The only thing I can say in favor of the Elixirs is that they seem to reduce finger noise. I'll probably try GHS 85/15 Vintage strings on the Mini next time. Does anyone have any experience with D'Addario Flat Tops?

I recently went from D'addario 80/20 mediums to D'addario phosphor bronze mediums.

Dadarrio would be my go to string. They seem to sound good on whatever guitar I put them on. Can't say that about some other strings.

LaBella Phospher Bronz lights on my H&D FS. Mediums or lights (depending on how I feel on my H&D TDR and Hi-bred light/medium on the DS Custom. Tried others, but like the LaBellas best.

This last year tried a lot of Acoustic Strings to improve the feel
but my Electric guitar strings have spoiled me forever....since mid 1970's
Gibson 740 Nickel Plated Steel .009-.036 though a Marshall Amplifer.

Went through..
Pyramid Silver plated .011-.050
Pyramid Ph Bronze 12-52
DR Rare 11-50
Tomastic Infeld Spectrum 12-54 (big con)
Newtone Masterclass 12-53 10-50..12-52..
EB Earthwound 11-52
EB Slinky 11-52
D'Addario EXP 11-52 12-53
D'addario EJ 12-53
Gibson J200 strings (Yeechs! off they went in 10 minutes)
Elixir Nano 11-52 and 12-53

Newtones are pretty good..thin plain strings in Pyramid Silver Plated set were best sounding I'd ever used..in the end I use Elixirs as they are slippery..
