Until purple loctite came along I used that forever on jags and jazzmaster saddles. Worked perfectly for me. Not so much for my heavy handed friends. Seems like it would work pretty well in this application.

I didn't notice the jack on my Dot was loose until one day I turned the nut to tighten it up and one of the wires pulled off!
To hold the jack in place while tightening the nut - and not rotating the jack at the same time - take a pair of needlenose pliers, insert into the jack, then hold the handle to push the pliers nose apart.

Loctite also makes a thread locker that will penetrate even after the nut is tight. Loctite is a plastic product so it may need to be heated to remove.

Oh. blue will hold. If you aren't willing to hold it hard with a pliers, you just may need a brief application of a soldering iron to the jack to undo it.
