Default Alistair doing some cool stuff

Happened upon this on Emerald's website. Alistair is in the Tibetan region of China, hand delivering a custom 9-string for an artist friend, Kristel Ouwehand, to decorate for a client. The story would be cool enough if it ended there, but what comes next is much more meaningful. Here's a link:

The same story is on Emerald's Facebook page, for those that do that sort of thing.

Makes me even happier that I have an X20.

Alistair sure seems like a solid guy. Passionate, innovative, apparently a big heart, and he builds one heck of a CF guitar! I'm a proud and very satisfied owner of an X5 and an X20.

He also managed to survive being attacked by a wild dog, and with the help of all his loving Tibetan friends, shook it off and was soon back to helping with the plumbing system. He has needed rabies shots though, poor guy.
