I wouldn't call it unnatural.
It might feel a little awkward, because a measure of independence between each finger pair is required. One stays anchored, while the other is moving.
But it's very doable, with practice. The key is: making the movement rhythmically, and not rushing. Play as shown, but start slowly and use a metronome to gauge how well you're doing the pull-off with fingers 3 and 4.
Do variations: pull-off, hammer-on, and triplets, i.e. PO-HO-PO, and then the reverse HO-PO-HO.
Many more options.
The idea is to get the finger pairs to respond smoothly and unhurriedly.
When you get comfortable, speed it up, but no faster than you can play it in time and making sure each note pair rings out clearly.

I see now that the tab doesn't represent how he plays it. It's a pull of on both pinky and ring finger together. That's what I find a little unnatural. Don't know if you saw it?

That's how it's fingered in the music you attached. See above.(3 & 4) That's what I looked at first. And I believe that's how he plays it too.
It's really the only way to play it cleanly imo: Anchoring down 1 and 2, and then plucking and cleanly pulling off 3 and 4, leaving 1 and 2 on the fretboard.
A classic double pull-off.

Yep, that's what I meant. Guess I have to practice and practice and practice and practice.

An alternate fingering I use is given by barring the higher strings of the 7 fret with you ring finger.

To practice, I recommend to practice the bar by doing a single pull-off: either w your ring finger or your pinky. Then put them together.
