Looking great!
Really enjoyed meeting Stephen at the Memphis show. Stephen is a tremendous guy! All three of his guitars were great and it took some real restraint to leave without that East Indian rosewood small jumbo. I'll look forward to following this thread! |

Hi,
Is the longitudinal back brace there to maintain the desired curvature along that axis - it looks like its radiused in photo? Or does it have another purpose? Regards, Drew |

Drew- you nailed it! The floating back brace has the radius built in. It is a Jeff Traugott design though other builders are starting to use it. It keeps the back from flattening out which is one key factor in a guitar needing a neck reset. |
