No worries Jay. Cocobolo is tough stuff and there's not that much pressure on it anyway.

Weekend Update.. shellac sealer coat with brush. I'll have to sand this back and spray it. My cocobolo is super oily and likes to stain my maple. Any tips and tricks are welcome! Main finish will be nitrocellulose lacquer.
