I tried last year but the poor lighting in the room foiled my point n' shoot. This year, I will have an F2.8 24-70 mm that I can shoot at ISO 800/1600 without noise. So I am hoping for the best.

For all those that have been, is it conducive for sampling guitars or is their always a wave of constant back round noise.

There's a lot of noise but there are a couple of try-out rooms.

It's 1:30 am on Saturday night come Sunday morning and I just got back to my hotel. The attendance today was unprecedented, over 150% of last year if I'm any judge. A much higher proportion of buyer to wannabe builders, too. Tonight I had a pleasant dinner with som of my customers, indistinguishable from friends as it happens. Then we went to a party at MikeD's place where many of my luthier pals were hanging out talking and playing music, mostly on the remarkable selection of vintage guitars Mike brought along. The main topic of discussion after guitarmaking itself seemed to be just how great this festival is, how right Baker Rorick is for the job of bringing it to us. Thanks, Baker!

Bruce, it's Rob & Ana. Great meeting you today in person! We had a great time at the show and your booth was definitely a highlight
I'm so glad I was finally able to actually try one of your heavenly creations in person (and surprisingly in probably one of the quietest rooms in the house lol. Which was not saying much in there with all the guitars and people talking ). I think I tried probably 25+ guitars today. What a great experience for a player like me. I have a ton of pics and vids (some of your showpieces of course ) which i'll use on a separate thread. So glad I finally had the honor of playing one of your guitars though! A master craftsman there is no doubt for me...

Oh man, so much talent in one little space. Thanks so much for taking the time to post all those wonderful guitar pictures for those of us who couldnt go. They are all so beautiful. How about sound, any ones particularly catch your attention. Probably pretty hard to tell in a crowded place.
