Default Linda Manzer visit to tAMCO UK.

Following the great success of Ervin Somogyi's visit I have just spoken with Linda Manzer and pencilled in a visit from her in November. Details to be finalised but again numbers will be limited so send me an email if you are interested.

Trevor,

What great news. Linda is a luthier that does not get spoken about that regularly on the forum but whose work is top notch. I still remember the first time I played one of her guitars at Healdsburg 11 years ago. If I win the lottery between now and then, I will cross the pond and join in!

Best,
Jayne

I think the only reason she's not discussed more is that her guitars are like unobtainium, and I think her list is closed. Which, I suppose, is a testament to her success. That, and the bunch of Manzers that Pat Metheny owns.

I can honestly say that I've never played a Manzer that wasn't exceptional (and I've played a LOT of 'em!). We're not talking merely "great" ... but mind blowing! She's an absolutely super person too ... very approachable and down to earth. If you get a chance to see her talk in person, grab it!!!

Linda is not only a great luthier, but also a charming and interesting person. She once told me some captivating stories about her time with Jimmy D'Aquisto.

Of course, I love her archtops:

Unobtainium - What a great word and of course so true in this case.

Great news. Linda is bringing a Metheny Signature 6 along for sale. I am very exited to be a Linda Manzer dealer and really looking forward to the talk.

The visit was a great success. Linda is wonderful. We had informal meetings in my store on the afternoon and great food and a talk from Linda at Bom Bane's in the evening.
