Default Original - "Safe"

Originally conceived as a more literal "love is a battlefield" type song, this evolved into something something more traumatic as I recently wrote a new song (coming soon) that has thematic symmetry with this one and created a multi-song project with the two that retconned the original intent.

I hope you enjoy it.

Really nice job on this, Jeremy. Your vocal harmony is really well done.

I also like the way you build this. The overdriven guitar was interesting, and it works quite well.

Great job on this!

Thanks, Glenn!

The overdriven guitar is actually a bit of a hack. I record it acoustically and then apply a patch in GarageBand to "electrify" it.

Good one, Jeremy!! Always enjoy how you build your arrangements and bring volume, intensity and force to certain points in your pieces.

The lead acoustic guitar.....great sound.....what was it??

Thanks for sharing this one!!!

I agree with Glenn.. you can really feel the build… guitar and vocals, and the harmonies cap it. Great song Jeremy. Loved it.
