Default Quilted cherry 00..... Finally

Got some new photo lights today and though I feel sure I can do better with experience, I think the lights helped.

Cherry back, sides and neck, shading by Tony, (on the body anyway, I finished the neck). Euro top, padouk and silver inlay on fingerboard and neck, ebony trimmings, hybrid

I have to give Mike (Woody) a lot of credit. He is always making great design suggestions and I think the synthesis of our ideas results in a more creative outcome.

I must say that I have been working to follow your photographic advice. It seems to me at this point that the guitar was too close to the black background. I'm going to redo that last shot and see if I can get the background to go away .

Gorgeous work there John. What finish did Tony use, PE perhaps? I like how creamy and white the top looks.

Thanks Tim. I'm pretty sure Tony used catalyzed urethane. I'm not sure what PE is, maybe we're talking about the same thing

Smile Wowsers!!!

Absolutely BEAUTIFUL!!!

Best photography yet, John.

Mike and John! What a team... The shading is beautiful. Woods are superb.

And, it should sound even better than it looks, judging by the ones Mike and I have already got!

Congrats to you both, gentlemen!!!

Cheers

Paul
