Once that Olson finishes, you just might have to look into a Cornerstone...

I hope you get a chance to play the road trip Zion.

I hope you are able to find a new owner for your guitar. I'm sure it was a hard decision to let it go.

As far as I'm concerned, any Cornerstone owner (or future owner or soon to be former Cornerstone owner, like yourself) is more than welcome to use this thread as they see fit.

LOL well, it was definitely a hard decision to offer it for sale. I worry that people may see it as a slight against the guitar - NOT the case. It's mainly a playability issue for me - I've come to find that I really need a beefier neck, and I also want to try to find myself a multiscale (or at least the funds to order one). Every time I play the Zion I have second thoughts. If I had more $ to play with, it wouldn't be going anywhere.

Default More recordings

I have recorded a few more samples of this fine guitar, this time with a microphone (vocal, dynamic) positioned outside the soundhole (to be reposted):

The first three samples are on page 2 of this thread, recorded using the McIntyre Feather passive pickup that is installed in the guitar. While the pickup is fantastic, it's hard to beat a direct microphone recording, even if it is not a Shure SM57 or even a condenser microphone.

I think the wood has decided that it likes being a guitar!
