Default 2011 Dan Bresnan GS in brazilian & eurospruce, for sale

This GS was built by Dan in 2011. The back & sides are brazilian rosewood, the top is european spruce, the neck is mahogany, the fretboard is ebony. The tuners are Alessi, made in Italy, and perform extremely well, as smooth as Waverlys. Both the nut and the saddle are fossilized walrus ivory.

The instrument is quite loud for a guitar of this size, and very well balanced across the strings. The action is low and perfect for fingerstyle. It sounds superb, as you would expect from the materials & a builder of Dan's caliber. The ebony armrest is my own installation, and it's easily removed.

I purchased this instrument from an AGF member in 2021. The guitar was in Shelburn, Indiana at the time. Since then, it's been kept at 45% & 70F in my humidity&temp-controlled guitar cabinet (when it wasn't being played). It has no issues except for one light finish crack (which it had when I purchased it) near the soundhole. The finish crack can be seen only when you hold the guitar at a certain angle. I'll try to take a picture of this.

The ‘GS’ Model is Dan Bresnan’s signature body shape. It has a slightly larger lower bout and deeper body-depth at the neck joint which gives it a more pronounced bass response.

Body length 19.5"
Width @ upper bout 11.25"
Width @ lower bout 15.5"
Width @ waist 9"
Body depth @ neck 3.75"
Body depth @ tail 4.5"
Scale length 25.4"
Frets to body 14
Nut width 1.75"
String spacing 2.25"

yep, that't the finish crack. You have to hold the guitar at a certain angle in order to see it.
