Taylor GS-Mini Koa (original 2014 limited edition model) now $650
Was able to secure two of this little beauties when they were first released in December, 2014. I've played the hell out of one of them, and I put this one away to collect. Time to find a new home for it. There is a small indent where the top meets the side. This happened while the guitar was stored away. Obviously, gig bags aren't as protective as hard cases. See last photo.
For those unfamiliar with the history of this model, it was a limited edition at the end of 2014. They were really difficult to get a hold of one. For whatever reason, Taylor chose not to put any sort of special label in these guitars. Due to the demand for them, Taylor chose to make it a catalogue item. The second batch came out months later, until the last of the original wood supply ran out. The next lot was released in December of 2015, with very different looking tops, featuring wide sap lines, which were quite striking. I believe the koa is their best-selling Mini version to date. TOP: solid koa BACK & SIDES: layered koa (not a koa laminate, where the other layers can be different woods.) ELECTRONICS: I'm guessing they called it ES-1 back then. Not ES2. This is from 2014, so whatever the current system at that time was, is what's in there.

Had a few questions regarding the top and sides. The top is solid koa and the back and sides are layered koa, which is far superior to standard laminates which use a mixture of woods.
