Default Smeck Type Guitar Model

I was wondering if anyone knew of a Roy Smeck model of guitar but with the only change being a 1 11/16" nut width? Most I have seen have been the usual >1.75" found on the vintage ones. I always have loved the huge sound of the Smeck guitars, but have tried to get on with wider fretboards and just don't find it conducive to how I play.

I guess it depends too on if the nut width would have a huge impact on the construction? To me it doesn't seem like a big issue, but I'm not a luthier, so don't know if this would require drastic changes to the design that I'm not aware of.

Dale Fairbanks makes spectacular Smeck style guitars and I bet he'd be able to do one to your liking.
