Amazon or Guitar Center. It really doesn't matter as long as you don't buy the $1.99 special. Any guitar store should be able to help. Congrats on the Mini.

I think my Loudbox mini is ok but it could be better. Works best with a small mixer plugged into the aux input. It really needed a parametric middle eq. The eq isnt voiced quite right imo... For the specific tone of my guitar that is. But... One could equally say my guitar isnt voiced for the amp... Thats why parametric is impirtant.

Arguably every amp sounds better once EQ'd and gain is set through a mixer.

I am not referring to running the DI out to a mixer. I am referring to using a mixer as the guitar preamp and using the mini as the PA

I had both the Artist and the mini. I sold the Artist, the mini sounds better after break in and I've used it for 5 yrs now. Add a powered speaker for more volume. Play and sing through it. Great amp for gigging. I also use it as my DI box with my band.

what about using 5/8" plumbing pipe into an adaptor screwed into the side of the amp for a floor stand to get the amp in the air?

Adapting is certainly an option.

I would suspect that you can purchase separately, the sockets that are usually installed in the bottom of pa cabs for use with pole stands. You would need a hole saw to install is, and make sure to get the balance right, but installation should be easy.

Agreed. However since I plan on this being in between my pedal board w/ Mackie and used as my monitor. I'll run a DI to my powered speakers and put it on a short stand to get it off the floor (and tilt it up a little). It should be great. I can set the reverb and chorus (when used) and tweak it from the pedalboard mixer. Easy peasy.
