Godin Icon vs Core Series
What's the difference between these two lines. They both have set necks. The only two things I can see are the Core has a combination wrap around bridge and a pick guard. Both bridges are Graph-Tech.
They both have the re-voicer. Does anyone know if there is anything else. Are they both Mahogany? The Icon has either a Maple top or a (I think) a Sapele top. I don't know what kind of wood the Core top has. They both, (I believe) have chambered body. I think the core is a little less money than the Icon, but I'm not sure these aren't very close to being the same instruments. Any comments? |

All the specs you're looking for appear to be on the Godin website.
Here's a Core example: http://www.godinguitars.com/godincorehbp.htm And here's an Icon: http://www.godinguitars.com/godinicon2classicp.htm
