Hello, Do electric guitars need humidifiers as acoustic guitars/classical guitars?

The old ones made from properly-seasoned, air-dried woods didn't...

If you're talking about solid bodies, not usually. Having said that, in places of great humidity peaks and troughs they may be useful to avoid neck problems such as action changes and fret-sprout. If you have an acoustic jazz box or even a semi, I think a humidifier may be of benefit, just as it is for any other acoustic instrument.
However, I live in a part of the world which has fairly high humidity all the year round, so I don't use humidifiers at all for any type of guitar.

I have usually put my jazz boxes and solid top PRS hollowbody guitars in with my acoustics for the winter in a room with a humidifier.

I have one Grosh strat that developed finish checking, but that was probably from temperature variations rather than humidity issues.
