That actually looks rather disgusting.

You should look into hiring some food photographers to help out with the PR.

I miss the green chili we'd get in Arizona. Pretty much anything with green chili, homegrown tomato, and avocado is going to be awesome.

One man's disgusting is another man's "good", as well shown on this thread.

I would rather enjoy the foods that Dar presents, and I wouldn't pull into Mickey D's for a burger unless my life literally depended on it.

Taste and LOOKS aren't necessarily the same thing.

Any 'burger' I make (haven't had a meat one in a couple of years) looks disgusting , or appealing , depending on perspective . When I put enough pickles, tomatos, onions, pizza sauce ( or sugar-filled ketchup) , mustard, mayo, and cheese on, they look gross , like any well -adorned sandwich should, but with some nice sprouted whole wheat toast for a bun , and a nice organic veggie patty in there, and I don't even notice there's no meat

Especially with green chile though, you want to go easier on the other junk and heavy on the green . It's a big deal here in NM , and the messier the better !

They never are the same thing, but the latter implies the former. I've yet to hear anyone say (without joking), "That looks disgusting. Pass me some!" It's usually, "That looks delicious. Let me try some."

You're supposed to chop it all up and put it in a large tortilla so it LOOKS good, too.

#3 looks the nastiest to me; all the white bread and pink meat but I'd be all over #4

It has been three years since I ate a McDonald’s hamburger. I’ve been to McDonald’s several times since then but only for breakfast fare. Anyway, after reading the opening post and another endorsing the Jalapeño Double, I decided to try it. I don’t like cheese on my hamburgers nor ranch sauce so I ordered the hamburger without those two items and added mustard and a lot of black pepper. It tasted good and I liked the texture of the crunchy jalapeños. However, I’d have preferred a single patty as, for me, two is too much.

It is fashionable not only to criticize McDonald’s hamburgers but to speak of them in the most disparaging terms one can muster. The more graphically one can deride them, the greater the feeling of superiority.

McDonald’s is not my first choice for hamburgers but as I was able to confirm yesterday, they are much better than most naysayers would have everyone believe. If they weren’t, McDonald’s wouldn’t be the world leader selling far more than their closest competitor.

The McDonalds burger is a copy cat version of a whattaburger and the Burger King thing is a copy of the Carls Jr. Western Bacon cheeseburger and those veggie burger things look disgusting.

While some are better than others, I’ve never tasted a veggie burger that I could truthfully describe as disgusting either to the eye or the palate.
