Default New Greenfield G2 Build

My fellow guitar enthusiasts,
I thought you guys might want to see this one- albeit brief. Mr. Greenfield has been building an Adi/Hog G2.
The B&S are Belizean Golden Mahogany (river salvaged sinker log) and the top is Adirondack.
I'll post a follow up when I receive the guitar. So, let's call this Part 1...

Quartersawn, book-matched set

Top, Neck Blank, Fingerboard-

Glued Up Back

Neck- Roughly Shaped

The Box- Front

The Box- Back

Binding going on

Bound and cleaned (no finish yet)-Front

Bound and cleaned (no finish yet)-Back

Ready for the Finish Room (no finish yet)

That is getting close to perfect to my eye I know it's a to each their own kind of thing, but I'd so much rather look at that set of wood every day than some of the really figured exotic sets you see. Also love the pics when they're in this stage of the build. Maybe why I like a light satin finish better than a gloss.

I like it a lot too. I had a 414 once in Satin. I wish I kept it.

Default "Not done yet"- it will have a gloss finish...

The guitar was about to into the finish room- it willl have the typical Greenfiield high gloss look. Interesting though, I never thought about it- the guitar would look really good with a satin finish. Go figure...

Fantastic. What a tasteful looking guitar. Love the clean look of the mahogany.
