Hi, a complex guitar is the Roy Smeck design. Never made with a "Spanish" neck like this beauty, only made as a Hawaiian.

This would have been a dream come true for me some years ago, actually about ten years ago when I ordered something similar from Huss & Dalton, which was a dramatic failure, and then in 2012 I managed to get a Santa Cruz version.

These guitars are fractionally deeper than normal Jumbos or Dreadnoughts and that is a problem for some.

Also with that soundhole projecting Just a tad further away from the player, it is less easy for the player to enjoy the great tonality that these can produce.

This Gibson is finished beautifully and with cooked adi and EIR B&S - that would be a dream.

I'd even possibly be tempted but shipping costs 20% tax and the aggravation of importing any rosewood cuts me out.

People who appreciate a wider nut, and a shorter scale combined with fine woods and a great booming body - should grab this rarity as quickly as possible!

Surely that will become as much a collector's item as the originals.

The Musician's Friend soundclip sounds great but from look of pickguard I don't think it's the guitar you're offering. Can you describe this one's tone....Thanks

It's not me in the video and it's not the exact guitar but one of the run of 30. I had a Jackson Browne version of this in rosewood as well. These guitars sound like pianos to me. Huge, lush, deeply resonant. I'm not articulate enough to do it justice. The guitar is set up perfectly and plays effortlessly.

Every time I look at this ad to bump it I think to myself, "What the hell am I doing?" I don't need to sell it, and I love it even if it is a bit on the deep side. Somebody grab it before I change my mind!
