Default Martin Sunburst Photos

I have been thinking about ordering a 000-18 with a sunburst from the custom shop. I don't fully trust the illustration on the website. Was wondering if any of you members could post examples of your sunbursts in the following varieties:

Vintage Sunburst
1935
Ambertone
Teardrop

Thanks!

Thanks Bluesidae. I really love it too. It was a tough choice to make. The guitar was a Custom Shop build as a retirement gift from my wife 2 years ago. I knew I wanted a burst finish but was having trouble deciding. I had a conversation with my salesperson at Maury's (where I ordered and purchased it from) and he helped me make my final decision. He told me how the Ambertone burst finish was more subtle and really beautiful but that it is difficult to capture in pictures. He said they look way better in person. He wasn't kidding. I was blown away when I first opened the case to view my new guitar. I am a professional Photojournalist so I know my way around a camera but I still couldn't do it the justice it deserves. Anyone considering an Ambertone finish should certainly try to view one in person if possible. Here is another pic from a slightly different angle.

000-18ge in the 1937 sunburst. I had always thought I wanted the amber tone, but the shade seemed to vary quite a bit. Once I saw this one, I fell in love.

I owned a burst for about 30 years, but no longer. I think that Martin Ambertone may be the prettiest burst I've ever seen! Gorgeous...
