2011 Taylor 614ce- near mint
I've now got two Grand Auditoriums and they both fantastic but I've got a line on a different guitar. The boss says I gotta sell one to buy one. I'd been on the fence about selling my 614, but with an 814ceDLX in the collection... You get the picture.
My 614ce is a marvelous instrument.I've posted numerous test recordings of it on the forum. I don't see any dings and if there are scratches on them you really have to hunt for them. Really in fine shape. The flaming is fantastic and great silking on the top that you might see in one photo. The color of the top is closer to what you see in the composite image and the image of it in the case. Not as light as the close-up of the top, so a nice natural aging tone. I had a Taylor authorized service center adjust the neck so that the string height is just right for easy play and optimal sound. It has the Taylor ES1 system with 9v battery holder which IMO sounds better than the new ES2. This guitar is well balanced and really sings with the right strings. Great mid-range. Solid bass and balanced trebles. Excellent for recording and won't get lost in the mix on stage while not being overly bright. It comes with Taylor 5- latch hard shell case (very good-excellent condition). $1950 plus shipping.

Looks great!
Based on my A/B testing, this version sounded way better than the AP version. Good luck with the sale. |
