Default 2005 - good Martin period?

I’m considering taking a drive this weekend to try out a d28. It’s a 2005 model - are there any concerns with the early 2000’s Martins that I should be aware of?

Thanks

That's the beginning of the Authentic Series and maybe the peak of the GE Series. Two of my favorites, one of the earliest D-18A's and last of the D-28GE's were made in 2005. Martin just switched to bone nuts and saddles on nearly all Standard/Vintage Series guitars in 2004. A 2005 D-28 would have the older 1-way truss rod, which I prefer to the later 2-way rod.

Summary - nothing to worry about. :-)
