How about this from Elderly? If it fits the Cordoba Guilele, it will almost certainly fit the Yamaha - and looks significantly more sturdy than the bag the Guitalele comes with.

I have this: http://www.amazon.com/Guardian-CG-02.../dp/B004WDQ5LY

One of the reviewers says they use it for a guitalele and they are spot on about the depth, but it's not a problem.

May be more than you want to pay...I remember it being cheaper when I bought.

I've been told but haven't confirmed that a tenor uke case will fit.

makes me wonder becasue my wife has a tenor and its a bit smaller -maybe a concert UKE size case ?

thou it wouldnt surprise me if the tenor case worked , some cases are way to big for the instruments they put in them --

( oops correction -i gave her a soprano not a tenor --Im new at this uke thing ( im a guitar person primarily )--please forgive me )

Tony, my Yamaha Guitalele arrived yesterday. I just checked and it fits perfectly in this case that I bought for my tenor uke:

Rob-im curious what it means when it says its a hardshell case ? its not a wood case thats lined with foam with a plastic fabric cover is it -or a hard foam with a cover ? Ive always wondered about them - wondered also about the longevity of the zipper on those -Ive only ever had wood guitars cases with latches ( other than those paper cases with latches in the early sixties -which i hope they dont make any more )- Thanks for your help !

Hi, A friend has one of these Steady Bags. MUCH nicer than the other nylon covered foam cases. This is reflected in the price. http://cargo.ukerepublic.com/product...-carrying-case. These are good folks to order from as well.
Regards, Brian

Musician's Friend sells a Baritone Uke case that looks to be about the same dimensions. I purchased one to fit my 19" scale low-tuned mandolin based on the size of a baritone uke body.

Sorry i havent replied sooner -This case just went on sale for 31.99 so i ordered it- will be nice to have something a bit better than that tight fitting bag they send with instrument ( which probably would do more harm than good ) much appreciate the information !
