Living here in the Southeast, I see Aromatic Cedar all the time...in fact, I used it in a large cedar chest that I built for a customer last Fall...but I can't say that I've ever seen it used for a guitar soundboard. I'm intrigued, and looking forward to hearing what it sounds like.

Wow. Some really beautiful stuff there.
Are your Stella 12's Ladder braced? I have been trying to get some red cedar like that - but the trees just aren't right for it.... So often - it's branches everywhere and lumpy, bumpy, twisty trees... |
