Default Laid to rest today

..my Epiphone Thunderbird Bass. It was given to me knowing full well it was a project.

Today I had a good look at 'er and she was just to far gone.

Neck pocket had splits on both sides, the headstock had a split running through it plus one of the holes for the machine heads displayed a crack, needed new frets, 2 0f 3 bridge inserts were lifting, wore out tone pot.

Stripped it all down. I am toing to give it to a friend of mine who is an exceptional wood worker. I'm sure he will find a use for that good wood in his projects.

I observed a moment of silence.
