Thanks so much for the compliment. I really appreciate your supportive words.

I like how Robin maintains the harmonic tension in the first verse.

Here's the version from Stuart Ryan that I've been mentioning:

Very delicate and refined.

Beautiful rendition of a beautiful song, and played with emotion. I loved it.
(And the reverb sounded great to me)

Thank you, Ray.

I'm not suggesting that you should learn my arrangement -- but playing other people's music note for note is a great learning tool. I'm thinking of folks like Tommy Emmanuel or Pierre Bensusan. Learning their music will expand your vocabulary and improve your skills.

I know of plenty of fellow musicians who botch TE songs and my thought is always, "What's the point?" What makes a TE song interesting and challenging is the way that he plays it.

I hear ya I'm not good at any of that tapping stuff but I love Andy McKee , though I do find to much tapping to become a bit much at times . Love Tommy . I go see them but never can get good tickets 😠

I have a hard time focusing that's my biggest issue . Good three finger or is it four counting the thump ? Lol picking is another area of improvement needed . I should of exposed to it started 20yrs ago now I'm hoping I can keep playing as age is creeping up fast lol
I can't read music might be able to do tab but I never really tried to do anyone's music in .. um ... 30yrs and back then just jammed to Rush all the time haha .

I wouldn't mind trying one your songs if your cool with it ? Not which one though lots to go over .
There's is one other member here I can't recall his name German I think his guitar is wonder Chez built I think anyways thought the song was mountain something .
Ok I'm rambling lol . I have to pencil a tune in that's the bottom line. I have a hard time getting the minutes of isolation needed to record a good take . Haha

I can read music just fine but rarely use that skill on the guitar. Tablature is great!
