Default John Denver's "Country Roads" (Japanese anime inspired arrangement)

Here is a twist on a classic hit. My friend, Ichiro Suzuki, came up with a haunting version of Country Roads based on a 1995 animated Japanese film called Whisper Of The Heart. Here is the link to that really innovative film arrangement:

Based on Ichiro's basic chording ideas, I've created a variation that doesn't have the all same staccato or jazzy/classical inflections found in the film version (which is the way Ichiro and I used to play it live as a duet) but perhaps in some way it still keeps the basic spirit of the Japanese version intact. Hope you enjoy:

Absolutely beautiful playing, and I love the arrangement! One of my favorite John Denver tunes, and your version adds magic to it. I also really like the mood of the video, with the candlelight.

Low light filming is always a challenge with digital cameras. I added a "Cartoon" filter to further abstract things a bit. Thanks for listening.
