Thanks. My daughter was on a Croce kick last summer and wanted me to record those to put on her Ipod.

Wow, jnf!
Those recordings were very nice! Your voice reminds me of a guy I used to sing with! Nice job on the multi-tracking with the two guitars! - Glenn |

Huge Croce fan,
well done sir. Very nice vocals and playing, it suits your skills, and I mean that as a big compliment, you are comfortable with his material so you can relax and "perform", very enjoyable.............

Among the best
Your playing and singing are as if you wrote and recorded these songs for the world to hear. You sure made these songs your very own!

Well, first of all, wow! Excellent job playing, singing, and recording. If I may ask, did you record and sing all aspects of these songs yourself? If so, please share your recording chain? Also, what tab are you working off of for these tunes?
Thanks! |

Let's see-I used a home built franken-mic into a Scarlett 2i2 into Cubase 8.5. I used an old Ovation nylon and a Recording King 000-12 fret on New York's Not My Home, and a 1957 Gibson C&W on the low part and a D-28 on the high part on Lover's Cross. I played, recorded, and sang everything-added a little EQ, a little compression, etc. I just got Wavelab 9, so I'm hoping to improve my mastering skills and even some of this stuff out a bit. No tab. Headphones and patience. I never could function with tablature very well. |
