Default Fingernails Buzz On Strings

I have a problem when I'm playing. My fingernails are not long, but when I play, for example, Malageuena, my fingernails buzz on the strings. The string is still vibrating from when I plucked it before, and when I go back to pluck it again my fingernail buzzes on the vibrating string, making an awful sound.

I'd like to know how to eliminate this, and if it's a technique problem I want to correct it. Can you help?

A proper stroke will stop the string with the finger before the nail comes in contact. Very few nail players play without equal contact with skin and nail at the same time. If that's a problem, learn to stop the string with your left hand.

yep... easy fix... focus on making contact with a bit of flesh right as you land your finger(s)... you can dial that right out of your playing....
