Default New Guitar AND Amp Day!

I've been lucky enough lately to have some pretty cool used gear in and around my local area...its made it awful hard to resist adding a bunch of gear!

Im more of a casual electric player, but have been looking to add a Tele to the stable for a while now. I've played a bunch of G&L's, both Tributes and their American counterparts, and have always been impressed with fit, finish, and tone. So when I found this ASAT Classic locally, I couldnt resist!

I also decided that I should have a new amp to go along with the G&L, so after much lurking and reading here (and playing locally) I brought home the Bugera V5. All I can say (after 2 hours of noodling) is wow, what a great little home amp!

Thanks to all those who have posted and given advice here, I've learned a lot in my lurking!

-Shawn

Nice. I'm GASing for a G&L as well, though it's the Comanche that's caught my eye. Those ASATs are great, though! Nice amp to match it with, as well.

You can't go wrong with a G&L Tele that's for sure. Nice little amp to run it through too.

Hey Shawn, what a great setup! Congrats on the G&L and Bugera, very nice. Are you playing mostly clean or with dirt?

Ooooh, nice work on both! I came very close to getting the V5, but I already had a 5w tube amp and couldn't justify it. Very envious!

Thanks for all the kind words!

Mostly clean so far...but its only been one night! I have to say, playing the bridge pick up with the gain at 7 or 8 and the tone kbob on 10, is better than i could have hoped for!
