As long as China skirts or ignores environmental and safety concerns, and ignores valid copyrights, trademarks, and fair business practices, I can't see myself purchasing a Chinese guitar. I will continue to support American and Canadian companies who abide by sustainable forestry and ethical business practices.

That's a fair opinion to hold.... does it extend to grocery lists and the conditions and pay restrictions the food giants force on their suppliers/growers/producers within the US?
