Sirhwale,
I am not sure that I have the ability to make a video but during the summer while on vacation I will try. Barb |

Barb, you have a rare bird. The world is counting on your documentation of finding one in the wild!

You know, the Savoy is the first new all new guitar from a CF builder since the Rainsong Parlor, so it is cool that Joe has been documenting the first guitars being shipped. Apparently I have the first non prototype guitar, so the first one shipped, and Barb has the fist one shipped to one of Joe's customers. I see she asked for the pickguard to be installed, and her guitar has the black Gotohs like other Blackbirds. Very cool.

This is right at the top of the list for me when my next purchase takes place. I no longer have my Lucky 13 but can testify to the personal involvement of Joe with his customers. Great company, and I think this is really a revolutionary new material! Joe is a true visionary. The addition of the truss eliminated the one thing I missed, the ability to set my own relief.
Great job Joe! |

Looks great - that video shows the back and sides better than any previous photos I've seen of the Savoy. Nice to have the hard case and gig bag (looks like a really nice gig bag, btw). With that styling, I'm liking the pick guard, as well!
Enjoy! |

Ok, so Savoy #1 was pre-sold to one of our regular clients, but as it turned out the size wasn't right for him, so he is sticking with his Lucky 13. As most here know, I was planning to get a Savoy as soon as we had more than one in the store, but I just kept feeling that #1 was meant to be mine. So, given that #1 has chrome Grovers instead of the black Gotohs the rest of them will have, and that we will have another one in a few weeks, and that I love this guitar too much to let it go, I decided to add #1 to the family stable so I can get to know it even better. Here's Helene "field testing" #1 on our boat over the weekend. I think the smile says it all.

I don't think of the Savoy as a paddle, of course. I hope to audition it eventually. Congrats on the new axe.
