Default Don't solid tops sell here?...okay they do.

I mean- I sold two nice solid wood gits here recently- quickly- and now have hit a wall. Is the AGF geared more for big name guitars and customs??

I saw your ad earlier and enjoyed the sales pitches, especially the gratuitous Radiohead link.

But . . . to actually sell it, I suspect you'd do better giving specs like scale length, saddle string spacing, nut width, body size/depth, since it's not a common and current model that we're all familiar with.

If I weren't in downsizing mode, I'd have been tempted just because of the Radiohead, though.

Good idea, CMD- thanks. The onus is on me- my onus.
Will update with measurements soon.

Thom plays a solid top Yairi in that particular song. My point.

Ah! When I saw he wasn't playing a Durango I figured the link was just because . . . Radiohead. Thanks for clarifying. Good luck w/ the sale.

Depends on how much you are selling it for. Obviously lots of solid tops sell. Just not yours.

Yep. You figured it out. We didn't tell you because we were all looking forward to this moment.

Are you referring to he Durango you listed a week ago? If so the brand isn't that well known, and a week is not really that much time. Also, I would change the title. I would get rid of the "$8000 price drop" joke and replace it with the make, model, and asking price of the guitar.

Good luck.

That's the right answer to the question you aren't, but should be asking....

Maybe for those who think one must sell a guitar only one way...

There are lots of ways to communicate- very surprised that not everyone knows that.

I think this is 90% a custom- high-quality guitar site- maybe higher.

In eleven years as an AGF member I've sold lots of guitar using the Classified section here. All of them had solid tops and none were customs. If you think after one month as an AGF member that you've got things all figured out, then you should continue to use catchy, misleading titles to sell stuff and pose questions....

Gotta be kidding. No communication evident. Change the title.
How much for the chipmunk?

For one thing it's a buyers market for mid level guitars in general. I'm having a heck of a time on ebay or reverb. Another is a lot of the regulars are well outfitted, need something special to get them to move. No snobs here just mid levels are a dime a dozen. Be patient and the right one will come along.
