You probably wouldn't believe what they're finding about matter. It doesn't exist until recognized. Started with the dual split experiment with light as both wave and particle.

If you look at things really closely, they're not what they appear.

Physicists have definitely moved away from the Newtonian view of the world.

It's almost like discovering the earth is not the center of the universe, though it so appears to physical sense. These new discoveries are going to take a while to sink into the popular culture. "Entangled" particles - that respond instantly regardless of distance - are going to become the basis for unbreakable cryptography, and that will be one of the first practical applications.

On the other hand, I find my guitar sounds a lot better when the rhythm (time) is distinct.

This is fascinating but as we pass through… erm… let’s call it ‘time’, … New discoveries and theories lead us to recognise and believe different things about the world, the universe and the progression of life. In 50, 100 years or more from now we might be thinking something completely different.

Surely this just proves that, in actual fact, we know nothing about it at all?


If time doesn't actually exist and each moment, past, present and future exist simultaneously then the moments therefore are like frames on a roll of film.

Time is just an illusion created by our passing from one frame to the next in a predetermined order.

We can only pass from one single frame to a connecting frame but if we roll the film up, the frames will connect with others 'out of order' and thus enable us to pass between frames out of sequence.

Finally, a way to pass between frames to the past or the future – Well it’s about time.


But if that's the case then life is pointless as our every moment is predetermined and beyond our control. The only person for whom time would exist would be whoever made the film.
