Default Kraut Guitar

Hi Joe,

The recording sounds awesome. I can't believe you are selling this guitar.
I have a Kraut MD and I just love it. What strings are you using on your Kraut.

Just listened watched the video again on YouTube. To my ears I like the Kraut, but I may be bias nowadays Either way, your playing was just beautiful!
Thanks Chad.

It was a quick take just for fun. The heat pump was on, there's all kinds of background noises and I missed a few notes.

For Andy's music, there's no doubt the Kraut really shines.

Thanks Ron.

I use phosphor bronze medium strings.

I'm a strong believer in "brands don't matter" but on this recording I am playing a fresh set of Elixir nanos.

Just got back from Woodstock and had the pleasure of playing both these guitars. Can't add another word to previous description. They were easily - that's eeeaaasily - the 2 best guitars at the show. And Woodstock this year is bigger and more prestigious than it's ever been. Ray is reminding everybody to be careful with the sold maple!

Default Kraut OO -- Wow!

I too just returned from Woodstock, and all I can say is that Ray's skill as a builder is only challenged by his warmth as a person! His guitars are truly musical works of art, and after having had a few brief email chats with him- he welcomed my arrival at his table with the warmth of an old friend! Bill- your guitar is a real stunner!

I'm jealous of those of you who are able to make it to the Woodstock show...it looks as if there are some amazing guitars there...and, yes, Ray's maple OO is mine...it was built in Oregon, and I just couldn't imagine it living anywhere else than in Oregon...it will be a great compliment to my other guitars...my first OO...my first maple...I really think it's an amazing guitar...

A lot of the guitars out there sound relatively similar--and exquisite--but Ray's guitars really have a voice of their own.

Just paid a visit to Ray's shop. Got to spend 1/2 hour with that Brazilian 00. That is one fantastic guitar! Plus Ray is a fantastic human.
